Welcome, you have found our site!

We hope to show a snapshot of the services we can provide and re-assure you of our ability to deliver the business solutions you are looking for.

The complexity of today’s working environment ensures a continuing requirement for specialist support by way of consultancy, outsourced solutions, and interim management; providing the flexibility you need for your business to stay ahead. Technology, converging and advancing as it does, will always provide new and exciting ways of promoting and delivering your products and managing your administration.

Most organisations will require some or all of the following:

· Help to keep track of new technologies, developing them rapidly into viable services and products.

· Understanding which existing and emerging customer needs can be met by improved processes and /or new/improved products.

· Establish and manage Supplier Networks and Key Partner relationships through strategic reviews of the operating environment.

· Adapt to shifting market conditions by re-channeling employee energy through the People Programme.

Market Segment

Management Consultancy has remained a popular way of filling Industry needs for specialist expertise, to deal with unexpected workloads, manage significant changes in practices and procedures and to plug gaps for absence executives. There is no evidence that the need for consultants will diminish. A criticism sometimes levied against the profession is that they tend to point to all that is wrong within an organisation and then the report is put on a shelf and not actioned.

Gti has sought to counteract this by continuing on contracts to carry out the improvements and recommendations until the systems run effectively. Small and Medium sized employers and Not For Profit clients are suited to the personal approach Gti provides, however, working as part of a large consultancy contract, with a team, on a sub-contract basis has also formed part of the service.

Our Mission

To use Consultancy skills to assist organisations to change by  working  with leaders to plan development in harmony with the future. We will harness the power of  technology to improve performance, and raise customer and employee satisfaction levels by cultivating partnerships across sectors to implement ideas and strategies.

Company Profile

History and Development

Evidence for Success

Gti’s Managing Consultant, Gillian Jordan, has worked within the Public, Private and Not For Profit Sectors.

Since 1982 she has provided business and technology services on a Consultancy basis, first as an employee and later on secondment, before forming her own business in 1994.

With a newly developed group of Associates she started GTA in October 1994 using her Counseling Skills to work as a Career Development Consultant with British Rail employees in Derby and London. Later help was provided on a voluntary basis with a small group of Technology Companies, assisting formation of policy

A business start-up to assist Chinese immigrants to settle in the UK, was supported and market research undertaken in Hong Kong. She also provided cable advertising for a local campaign.

In 1995 she undertook contract work for a Charity preparing a strategy to enhance fundraising potential. The income was doubled over a 4-year period. Working with Associates the Charity image was enhanced via a newly designed web page offering email access.

Market Segments

The business started as GTA and was renamed Gti after work was conducted overseas in Hong Kong. The Consultancy wishes to continue to offer the main skill sets to the Small to Medium sized employers (SMEs) and Not For Profit (NFPs) sectors because these are areas not normally served by large competitive consultancy practices. As a sole trader business a personal, highly tailored service can be offered; to meet the broad needs of most businesses. By using a flexible chain of experienced Associates, access is gained to a variety of skill sets as and when they are needed.

Business Ethics

Background

How can you know if a business will deliver to any agreed contract?

Well you might run through a few tests like, is the business well known, has it got a good track record, did they deliver to time and budget for a previous customer etc?

Unfortunately this will never guarantee a safe passage for you. Take a look at the ethics and values of the owners, not just some well used phrases on a sales brief which mean nothing, but discuss what it is that makes this business different.

The ideas of the “gentlemen’s agreement” and “my word is my bond” are expressions we are familiar with, rooted in Old Testament biblical wisdom of trust and clear speaking, but what replaces that kind of honesty in Western Society today?

We can devised any number of “water-tight” contracts but they may still be broken and the track to litigation is costly and full of potholes!

Here in the UK we seem to turn our backs on anything bearing a vaguely “christian” trademark and indeed many so called "Christians" have become confused over where the Truth lies. Church Membership in UK between 1980 and 2000 declined from 7.5 millions to 5.9 millions, an effect of 21%

The temptation might be to think that there is no longer any relevance or benefit of acknowledging that spiritual issues could impact business and trade; but they can and do.

A further look at the figures in the UK show that a surprisingly high number of people 65% hold to some form of basic Christian (Trinitarian) belief; 7% have some other religious affiliation and 28% are non religious.

Gti is motivated by the belief that Old Testament biblical roots are important for business, including the original Judeo spiritual foundations, and these are to be intimately woven into the warp and weft of society. The renewal of the Old Testament by Messiah’s Teaching based on agape love in the New Testament, is our Foundation for entering into business with you.

A special programme of training sessions for those interested to explore faith or enquire for the first time about how it can help in their life or business should let us know.
